Mark Bachman brings extensive industry expertise to as RELCO's Chief Operations Officer. He has been with RELCO for 25 years and his unparalleled work ethic have been instrumental in RELCO's success. There isn't anything related to locomotive repair that Mark has successfully completed in excess of the customers recommendation. He takes the responsibility seriously to mentor RELCO's current mechanics with his precious knowledge.

- Directed the production of RELCO's new state-of-the-art 95-acre manufacturing/rebuild facility in Albia, Iowa successfully meeting time and budget constraints:
- Acquired town building permits.
- Calculated and finalized job costs.
- Located subcontractors: negotiated contracts, payment terms and conditions, established work completion dates.
- Personally managed site including scheduling, coordinating, and overseeing work of subcontractors.

Doug Bachman, Chief Administrative Officer
Doug Bachman brings extensive experience to his multi-faceted role as RELCO’s Chief Administrative Officer. Over the course of his career he has established a proven track record as a strategic thinker who achieves lasting results. He has devised and implemented streamlining measures to improve productivity and efficiency, resulting in millions of dollars in savings for numerous companies.
Today Doug dedicates that expertise to RELCO, where he leads the company’s accounting, legal, IT, project management, human resources and sales departments. Essentially, he aims to implement best practices and drive innovation to ensure that RELCO may best support its customers and provide greater operational accuracy and quality.

Chuck Benson, Chief Business Development Officer
With 35 plus years of experience in the Rail and Transit industries and over 20 years in Sales and Marketing and Sales Management capacities, RELCO welcomes Chuck's vision and tireless energy.
Accomplishments
- Defined the existing Market and develop a strategic Marketing Plan to achieve a $20M per year growth objective for the Service and Maintenance product group. Analyze existing Service and Maintenance operations; develop an improvement plan to meet the internal and Market place demands.
- Generated strategic Marketing Plan integrating internal and external resources to provide new Service and Maintenance related products. Developed cost models for new Service and Maintenance offerings, lead preparations of offerings to include cost reductions, coordinate external sales personnel, generate short and long term forecast:
- Developed Sales and Marketing plan for both domestic and international sales. Participated in various integration functions for; Sales, Operations and Manufacturing for combined annual sales of $105M (with $16M in inventory over 13,000 different components in different 120 product groups) in electronic, mechanical, electrical and rotating replacement components.
